Website privacy and app privacy are different
You want to know who keeps what before you move from a page to a phone app.

Our website and the Miracle of Mind app are two separate products with two separate privacy notices. What this site does with your data is one question. What the app’s provider does is another, and only the provider can answer it.
Whose privacy notice applies where?
On this site, our tools, such as the meditation timer, run in your browser. Nothing there needs an account.
Once you tap through to the store, the page belongs to the store and the provider. The App Store lists the app as provided by Isha Foundation5, and links a developer website and a privacy policy on isha.sadhguru.org2.
What does the store label declare?
The store’s privacy section is declared by the developer, and we have not checked it. It lists identifiers and usage data as data used to track you, contact info, customer support content, identifiers and usage data as linked to you, and precise location, emails or text messages and diagnostics as not linked to you1.
We could not read the privacy policy text, so we say nothing about how long data is kept or who receives it. Read the policy yourself, and write to the provider with questions.
May I stop or choose a different activity?
Yes, at any point. Closing a page, skipping the app or switching reminders off on your phone is a complete answer.
Removing an app from your phone, switching off reminders and asking about account data are three different things. We have not tested the app, so we do not describe its settings, any deletion process or what happens to stored data. The provider’s contact email is [email protected], as listed on Isha Foundation’s page3.
Am I reading published content, an automated reply or a person?
It helps to ask this every time. Our guides are published content, written once and the same for every reader. A person’s advice comes from a named doctor or counsellor.
Isha Foundation’s page describes AI-powered features called “Tune in to Sadhguru” and “Ask Sadhguru”4. That is the provider’s own description. We have not tested them, and an automated answer is not clinical care or official support.
What should stay private?
Keep your IC number, bank details, passwords and medical history to yourself, and keep other people’s details out too, such as a child’s school or a parent’s illness. A resource for everyday calm has no need of them. Do not type a private health story into any resource that answers automatically.
Try this: a four-step privacy pause
Run it while you wait for the LRT.
- Open the app’s store page and find the privacy section.
- Read the three groups of data once, slowly.
- Decide what you would be happy to enter, and what you would not.
- If a question remains, write it down for the provider, and wait for the answer before you install.
When something feels heavy
If a worry about data or a practice leaves you unsettled, it is fine to stop. A doctor or counsellor is a good person to talk to, and our support page lists where to start.
Where to go next
For the wider question of what changes when you leave this site, read what happens when you leave our site for an app. To see who to contact, read who makes the app and where support is. Everything is gathered in our Miracle of Mind guides.
If you feel at ease with what you have read, Sadhguru’s free seven-minute guided meditation in the Miracle of Mind app is optional, and a browser timer is a complete alternative.
Common questions
Does Blissful see what I do in the app?
No. The app belongs to its provider, and we are not the provider. What the app collects is described by the provider's privacy policy and the store's privacy section, not by this website. Read those before you install.
If I delete the app, is my data deleted too?
We cannot say. Removing an app from your phone and asking a provider to deal with account data are different steps. We have not verified the provider's process, so ask the provider using the contact on its own pages.
Can I stop using the app and switch to something else?
Yes. You are free to stop at any time, switch off reminders on your phone, or choose a different practice altogether. Nothing on this site depends on the app.
Is an automated reply the same as advice from a person?
No. An automated reply is produced by software and cannot see your whole situation. It is not a doctor, a counsellor or official support. For anything heavy, reach a real person through our support page.
