Save a resource without saving your notes
You want to keep the page for later, but not the personal words you typed.

Saving a page and saving your notes are two different things. A bookmark keeps only the address. What you typed into a planner stays separate, in your own browser, unless you copy or print it.
Once you see the difference, you can save what is useful and leave the private part behind.
What exactly gets saved?
It helps to name the four ways people keep a resource.
- A bookmark saves the web address only.
- A shared link sends that same address to someone else.
- Copy as text saves the words you typed, along with the plan.
- A print or screenshot saves whatever is visible on the page.
Only the last two include your own words. The first two are safe to use freely.
How do I bookmark a guide?
Bookmarks suit guides you want to return to.
- Open the guide.
- Press Ctrl and D (Cmd and D on a Mac), or tap the star or share icon on your phone.
- Choose a folder or name that makes sense to you, such as “Evenings” or “Kopi break”.
If the device is shared, give the bookmark a neutral name. Our guide on clearing plans and bookmarks from this browser shows how to remove it later.
How do I keep a planner but not my notes?
Bookmark the planner, and write your plan on paper or in your own notes app.
- Bookmark the planner page, for example the evening wind-down planner.
- Use it, then copy only the lines you want, or print them.
- Paste into your own notes. Leave the planner page blank.
- Close the page. The next visit starts fresh.
This way the page stays as a tool, and the private part lives only where you chose.
What should I check before I share?
Before you send a plan by WhatsApp or email, read it once. Remove any lines you would not tell a neighbour.
- First names and nicknames of others
- Health or money details
- Places and times that show where you will be
The family WhatsApp group is warm and fast, and it also forwards. A plan you share with one person can reach twenty. If you only want to send a page, send the link, not the plan.
What about screenshots and prints?
A screenshot is easy to take and easy to forget. It lands in your gallery, and some phones back the gallery up automatically.
Crop out private lines, or delete the screenshot when you are finished. For paper, look at the print preview first and choose only the pages you need. If you share a printer, collect the sheet straight away.
What if I want the practice tracker saved?
The practice tracker keeps your marks in that browser, so your own device is enough. Print it for the fridge door if you want a copy on paper.
On a device other than your own, press the clear button at the end of the session. See using a personal planner on a shared device.
A short checklist
- Bookmark the page, not the plan.
- Type only light details.
- Copy only what you need.
- Crop or delete screenshots.
- Clear the tracker on a shared device.
If keeping notes about a worry feels heavy, it is fine to put them down. Our support page lists where to start if you want to talk to someone.
Afterwards, a minute away from the screen helps. Sadhguru’s free seven-minute guided meditation in the Miracle of Mind app is an optional way to take it.

Common questions
Does bookmarking a planner save what I typed?
No. A bookmark saves only the address of the page. When you open it later, the planner is blank unless it is the practice tracker, which keeps its marks in that browser. Your typed words are not stored inside the bookmark.
If I share a link, does the other person see my notes?
No. A link takes them to the same page, not to your entries. What you typed stays on your own device. If you want them to see your plan, copy it as text or print it, and check it first.
What about screenshots?
A screenshot captures everything on screen, including your words, and it is saved in your photo gallery, which may back up to a cloud. Crop out private lines, or delete the screenshot after you use it.
Can I save a guide for offline reading?
Yes. Use your browser's Print option and choose Save as PDF. The PDF holds the guide as it looked when you saved it, so check later for updates before you rely on any detail.
